Review QR codes
How to Create a Google Review QR Code
A Google review QR code can make it easier for customers to find the right review page after a visit, purchase or service appointment. The best review QR codes are clear, honest and easy to scan, without pressuring customers or filtering who is asked to leave feedback.
Get the right review link
Use the review link from your Google Business Profile or the link you normally share with customers. Open the link on a phone first and confirm it leads to the correct business listing and review flow before creating the QR code.
Avoid using a link that points to the wrong branch, outdated listing or a search results page where customers need to choose your business manually.
Create the QR code
Choose the Website option in QuickQR Studio and paste your review link. Generate the QR code, download the PNG and add a clear label such as “Scan to review us on Google” or “Tell us about your visit”.
Use the optional campaign fields if you want to measure where scans came from, such as receipt cards, appointment follow-up leaflets or counter signs.
Use clear and fair wording
Ask for honest feedback rather than only positive reviews. Keep the wording simple and do not imply that a discount, prize or benefit is tied to leaving a review unless you have checked the rules that apply to your platform and location.
Good examples include “How was your visit?” or “Scan to share your feedback”. Avoid wording that pressures customers or suggests they should only scan if they had a positive experience.
Where to place the code
Review QR codes work well on receipts, counter cards, appointment cards, takeaway bags, table tents and follow-up printed material. Put the code where customers can scan it calmly, not where they feel rushed.
Test the printed code and make sure staff understand what it does. If customers ask, staff should be able to explain that it opens the public review page.
